There's a difference between succeeding with man's approval and with God's hand alone. We know that the Lord will give us favor with man, but there is a difference between seeking man's approval and succeeding by God's hand alone and relationship with Him.

Anyone can utilize their gift or talent to build a business or a ministry but if you build with your flesh then you will reap only what you have sown in the flesh and then you will have to maintain it. But if you seek the Lord and go through His process of promotion not only will you receive the fulfillment of your promises but you will have His presence and His favor.

God's process is about building our character and being able to handle the blessings that He wants to give to us. If we lack character and we take all the praise and the glory from our success it will crush us. We were never meant to hold the glory, but God get's the glory and then He is the one that lifts us up. That is why I believe we see so many who have fallen in ministry and also who have been crushed in Hollywood, because they have not fully gone through the process and learned that they cannot take the glory.

God often times uses trials to create the character He desires in us but it is also easy to get stuck in those trials even if the actual lifetime of the trial has passed.
